Vancouver Detached House

Our family house is our home where we live, work, play, and raise our child. The three-level house itself is more than 100 years old and has been renovated and modernized over the years. It has some charming features such as original wood flooring, but also comes with modern conveniences like dishwashers and fibre optic high-speed internet. The house was originally a single-family detached house, then divided into two suites, but the two suites are connected and we are currently occupying both of them, so there are actually two kitchens in the house along with two living rooms, three bathrooms, and three bedrooms. We have a fenced private garden with a beautiful old cherry tree in it, as well storage space for bikes and other equipment. Our home is centrally located in funky East Vancouver, close to Commercial Drive, which was recently named the fifth coolest street in the world by global travel publication Time Out. We are located very close to the Broadway and Commercial Skytrain station, meaning we are only ten minutes to downtown by transit, and about a 20 minute drive to the airport or 40 minutes by transit. We are also on a tree-lined bike route that we use everyday to take our kid to school. The location is ideal for exploring the lower mainland and also for getting out of the city as we are relatively close to the highway also.
