Conor's beach house by the ocean

Kia ora and greetings! We would love to share our home with you. I have lived here in Pukerua Bay since 2004. Currently I am undertaking a PhD and also work part-time for a national arts organisation. My twin sons Joey and Paddy, born in 2005, have grown up here in the Bay. Our house is situated just a short 5 minute walk down to the beach - every day we wake up to a different view of the sea. If you walk down to the beach, you can use our kayak or just swim. Our house is modest, but warm and very comfortable. Our cat Biko will be here to welcome you - he is very friendly. There are three bedrooms - a large main bedroom and two smaller single bedrooms. Please do also enjoy our outdoor bath! It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station from here. You can buy a decent coffee at the local store, which is near the train station. Just a short train ride away (35 mins) is the capital of New Zealand - Wellington! In Wellington you can find many attractions such as Te Papa (our national museum); the cable car up to the Botanic Gardens; and many wonderful places to drink coffee or eat out. In Wellington you can easily jump on the inter-island ferry to visit the stunning South Island. From Wellington you can also catch the train to Auckland, our largest city, or travel by bus or plane to many tourist destinations within New Zealand, such as Rotorua and Queenstown. Our home will give you a wonderful base from which to explore New Zealand while still also providing you with an ocean haven to undertake your work.
