Peaceful house on a beautiful island near Sydney

The house is located towards the top of Scotland Island, a small island in Pittwater on the northern edge of Sydney. The house comes with a boat for the 5-minute crossing to the mainland. This sizeable house includes a large open-plan, combined living / dining room and kitchen, two bathrooms and a laundry. It originally had four bedrooms, but one is used as a study and another as a workshop. One of the rooms furnished as a bedroom is downstairs and so is beautifully cool in summer. The second bedroom is on the main floor and is cosy in winter. There are two bathrooms (one on each floor). The house has a large verandah and extensive views across Pittwater. It faces ENE, so catches plenty of morning sun. There is a front and rear garden. The house is seven-minutes' walk (up a fairly steep hill) from the wharf where the boat is kept. There is fast, reliable NBN wifi. (I am currently overseas and so unable to verify the speed, but believe me it's fast.) Reaching the mainland involves a five-minute boat ride (in the supplied boat) or there are ferries and water taxis. Once on the mainland there is car parking, or a bus service into Sydney (involves one change). There are no commercial premises on the island but there is a shop, cafe, restaurant and post office at Church Point (5 mins by boat).
