While the house isn't fancy it is a very comfortable space as a base to discover this lesser known, but very beautiful, part of Ireland.
There are two bedrooms, the main room has a king sized bed and ensuite with an electric shower. The 2nd bedroom has a standard double bed. The main bathroom has a shower that works off the immersion (ie you need to turn on the heat or the switch to heat the water).
There is a nice-sized kitchen dinner with a large table that can be moved to allow a group to eat. There is an open fire in the sitting room, I tend to only use this in the coldest times of the year. There is oil heating which can be set on a timer. As it rarely gets that warm in Ireland there isn't any air conditioning, we open a window if needed.
There is a washing machine and dryer in the utility room & a clothes horse plus washing line in the enclosed garden. There are 3 bikes in the shed and a kayak.
