January 2026: 2800+ Homes & Non-Simultaneous Swaps 🎉
Hi home swappers,
2025 was a record-breaker for Swaphouse! We approved 1600+ new homes, and grew to a total of 2800+ homes across 88 countries!
But it didn't stop there. We saw more likes, more matches, more messages, and a massive 250% increase in swapped nights (!!)

New: Non-Simultaneous Swaps 🔄
Until now, when planning a swap on Swaphouse, the swap had to happen at the same time: you stay at their place while they stay at yours. But let's be honest: schedules don't always line up that perfectly.
With non-simultaneous swaps, you can now pick different dates for each side of the swap. For example: you could stay at their apartment in Barcelona in February, and they stay at your place in Amsterdam in April.
