A unique way to travel and explore the world

My girlfriend and I recently completed our first experience with Swaphouse, and we've fallen in love with the concept of house swapping. At first, probably like most others, we had some skepticism (taking precautions is key). However, by following the platform's recommended steps—setting up video calls, meeting our swappers in person over dinner, and maintaining communication prior—we had absolutely zero doubts.

The exchange turned out to be an amazing experience. It allowed us to live like locals, seeing the city from a totally different perspective than we would as traditional tourists.

And it saved us quite some money. Actually so much that it makes me feel bad for all the times we paid for accommodation. I am sure Airbnb and Booking will be discussing this trend in the future somewhere on their roadmaps and how to fight/embrace it :)

Just try it. I am sure you will remember that experience!

Swaphouse is a game-changer for remote workers and digital nomads

I've had an incredible experience using Swaphouse to swap homes with other remote workers around the globe. The platform is user-friendly, completely free, and provides an amazing selection of homes.

An excellent platform for people who love to travel

As a hodophile (a person who loves to travel) my life is richer & fuller thanks 🙏 to Swaphouse. Not only it's a free, super easy, and fun platform to use for apt swapping (both on the web and in an app)- makes Tinder look silly as swiping for apt matches it's way more rewarding - but also the founders are plain awesome professionals as well as great human beings always prompt and ready to help. Also, they're doing their best and constantly looking for ways to improve users experience and also build a community of travelers that roam and explore the world in a super sustainable way, all while helping people connect with each other and forge great new friendships!

I already completed an over two weeks super fun and successful apt swap in Vienna, Austria (my host came to my apt in Saranda, Albania) and everything went superbly well.

I'm extremely happy and I look forward to more apt swaps and can't recommend enough Swaphouse to anyone and everyone who has an itch for traveling/nomading, basically being home at someone's else home while offering your own home too. In a nutshell, the place to be and connect with like-minded humans.

An amazing first experience with Swaphouse

This was my first experience with Swaphouse and I was totally impressed and delighted with the experience! From the start of communicating with the owners and exchanging information the process was seamless and so well thought through.

It was wonderful to be able to stay in a home at the end of the day and by saving on accommodation we were able to do so many activities in Amsterdam when there.

It was also good to know that each of us was taking care of our properties and also both respected that there were personal belongings in the property whilst also leaving the property in the same state as you found it.

I will definitely be using the site again and am recommending it to friends too!

Great free swap community

I did one swap already on this page already and it went really well. It is free and you can arrange your swap flexible. I also like the idea with the swiping, the design and I didn't find any bugs on the page. Can highly recommend it!

14 day home swap Vienna <> Saranda

I really enjoyed staying at Albans Place beautifully located near beach bars, restaurants, Markets in the City of Saranda in Albania!! The communication before our swap was clear and very trust-building. Alban is very communicative and provided really useful information about the apartment, how-to-get-there, what-to-do, and where-to-eat. Whenever I had a question during my stay, he answered promptly and with great enthusiasm. I truly appreciative his positivity and reliable character - which made my stay feel like home. I enjoyed the multiple possibilities to soak up the sun and the amazing sea. Breathtaking beaches are just a stroll away within 5-15 min walking distance ! It was my first swapping experience and I can totally recommend his charming home!

14 day home swap Estepona <> Vienna

We had a wonderful stay at Nikola & Micaela's flat in Vienna. The apartment is very spacious for two people and features a lovely balcony. The location is well connected by public transport, but we didn't mind the half-hour walks to the center, we actually enjoyed exploring the city on foot in the evenings. We also used the workstations at home and the park downstairs for training. On top of that, we had the pleasure of sharing a dinner together and a padel session. We also loved their selection of books and felt very aligned! We valued their warm hospitality. It was the perfect first swap for us!

11 day home swap Natz <> Amsterdam

We had a fantastic house swap experience with Tobi and Kat! They stayed in our home in South Tyrol and we in their lovely apartment in Amsterdam. We found their home very comfortable and it had everything in it you could need. The internet worked perfectly allowing us to work from home too. The communication with Tobi and Kat was excellent. They were very quick to respond to any questions we had via our whatsapp chat. They treated our home with care and respect and we would happily swap with them again in the future.

14 day home swap Rimini <> London

The home swap with Laura was a wonderful experience. We first met online and then in person, and Laura immediately struck me as a very kind, calm, and reliable person. Her home is in a strategic area of London, very close to the underground and other public transport, in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Even when returning alone in the evening, I never felt unsafe. Laura's home is full of light, equipped with all the necessary comforts, and very peaceful. I felt really comfortable there. Everything was impeccably clean. When I came back, I also found that Laura had treated my home with great care. I absolutely recommend swapping with her.

I did a home swap with Annalisa and it was a fantastic experience. Her home was exactly as described, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Annalisa went out of her way to make my stay memorable, and I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and communication throughout. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering a swap! 🤩

Super intuitive and efficient platform. You can really feel that the software is evolving day by day to offer a quality service. Plus, it's (for now) free to use. I had the opportunity to meet someone for a swap in another country, and it was a great experience.

A wonderful house swap experience in Utrecht

I did a house swap with Bulent in June for a week. The communication was easy and they provided a lot of information about their flat and neighbourhood, which made it easy for us to find everything! They made us feel very welcome into their home and were responding fast on any inquiries. They left our home very clean which was nice upon return. We had a lovely stay in Utrecht and would swap again in the future!

Swaphouse is such an amazing concept! I’ve been using it to swap homes with other remote workers, and it’s made traveling so much easier and more affordable. The app is intuitive, well-designed, and makes the whole process of finding and arranging a swap incredibly smooth.

I love how it connects people from all over the world and creates a sense of community. Every swap I’ve done so far has been a great experience, with friendly hosts and beautiful places to stay.

Of course, you need to be careful and book refundable tickets, as unexpected things may happen.

If you enjoy traveling while working remotely, Swaphouse is an absolute must-have. It's practical, secure, and adds a personal touch to the digital nomad lifestyle. Highly recommended!

The platform makes it easy to connect

The platform makes it easy to connect with other remote workers who are interested in swapping homes. We've already completed one swap last summer and are currently in touch with other users to plan another one soon.

We really love the matching system: once you match, you can get in touch directly, check the home's availability, and access lots of useful information. It feels intuitive, well-designed, and built around real needs. Highly recommended!

Chilled and easy going

Swaphouse is a chilled and easy going platform for swapping homes. The service is not for profit yet, and you get a sort of family business, small community feel to it. I had very good support from the team every time I requested info. I completed one exchange and I am very happy with my experience all together.
