High Valley Farm

Ditch the city for a few months and get back to nature at this beautiful minimalist farm just a short trip from the Magical Town of Amealco, Querétaro. Set up your laptop near gorgeous woodland walks and enjoy the company of squirrels and birds. The super-chilled site have electricity, water and wifi 247 and is surrounded by woodland where you can catch a glimpse of rabbits, eagles, sparrow hawks and glow-worms. You can always stroll down to the village nearby or explore the rather lively city of Queretaro over the weekend. At night you have spectacular glowing views of the city from the rooftop of the cabin. The farm is a lovely hilltop retreat in the countryside of Amealco, 70 miles north city of Mexico. The property is surrounded by a natural park area of 50.000 acres. The property is fully fenced and there is free parking inside as well. A very private and peaceful spot ideal for global nomads and remote workers who want to disconnect from the city chaos and enjoy a country way of life. For more privacy the cabin can be off limits to the animals if travelers desire so. If you are a big dog/ cat person for sure you can take your pets with you in this trip. We are a 100 % Pet-friendly destination. Kids are allowed too. Heads up: I do not want to create false expectations. The farm is not for the faint-hearted as the beauty of it is in the outdoors and its simplicity and not the furniture If you know what I mean. Getting outside will make you more you. You'll be happier, less stressed, more productive, and a more radiant person in general. Outside is good for us. And at our farm, outside is in abundant supply. Our outdoors, a landscape of high valley and pinetrees vistas complemented by mountains and picturesque trails, provide more than recreation. The outdoors, simply put, is healthy. Sure I can’t compete with a fancy apartment in NYC, París or Ámsterdam but I bet you the weather is nicer over here 🤣🤣🤣 This is pure country life. The great and simple beauty of the outdoors and close contact with nature. Experts have long noted the emotional and physical health benefits of engaging with nature, crediting the practice with reducing anger, stress, and fear, and improving blood pressure, heart rate and muscle tension. Last but not least Amealco is “Sunny 24/7”. Ideal match: Small families, couples, singles or remote workers who enjoy the outdoors. Perfect match would be in general outdoor people who enjoy being out in the fresh air, walking their dogs or just going for a nice long Sunday trek somewhere. Remote workers can work perfectly here as wifi works just fine but it is all about the love of nature. If you are expecting a luxurious cabin I am afraid you would be disappointed. If you are open-minded, feel comfortable with an outdoor lifestyle and basic accommodation then this house swap will be a good fit for you.
