In West Portal (15 minute walk from home), there's great Italian, India, Thai and American food. On Taraval St (10 minutes walk), some of the best Asian food in America. Golden Gate Park is a 30 minute walk, or a quick bus ride. The #6 bus leaves from the corner of our block and goes through the heart of the city, down to the historic Ferry Building and Fisherman's Wharf. The Golden Gate Bridge, SF Zoo, Stonestown Mall and gorgeous Pacific Ocean beaches are only a few minutes away by car or bus/MUNI. Nearby highways 101 and 280, major MUNI (train) lines and buses 6, 48, 66.
