Gaze out over an unspoiled natural landscape of mountains and sea from this tranquil setting. Once an agricultural storehouse, exposed beams and stone walls still showcase the interior. Pick figs, almonds, and mulberries in the 2-hectare grounds. Perfect place to relax in the terrace in front of the stunning view of the bay the mountains behind and the sky above. Ideal starting point for exploring the north west of Sicily. The house is located inside the Natural Reserve of Mount Cofano, about 200 meters above the sea level and in a central position to the Gulf of Cofano mountain, with an exceptional panorama, allowing to live moments of incredible silence (even in August). It’s located in an unspoiled natural landscape where it’s possible to enjoy a range of outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, snorkeling, biking, kayak, horse riding, SUP etc.) or from where you can start to explore the north west of Sicily (have a look to my guide just below: inside position/map point), if you don't like to stay there to simply enjoy the view of the mountains, the birds that live in and, above all, the sea! The sea, which is about 300 meters from the house, you can easily reach the beach walking in 10 minutes or by car - along the dirt road - you can discover the beautiful pebble’s or sandy beach. For this reason I suggest to rent a car suitable for dirt roads indispensable only in winter time and recommended in the other time :) The house is about 40 square meters and is an agricultural warehouse, dating back more than a century ago, modernly renovated as a single space equipped with every comfort. In particular, inside, the kitchen is full equipped (including oven and washing machine), the bedroom is on the mezzanine equipped with a double bed. In addition there is a very spacious bathroom, another outdoor shower and a big barbecue. The house is equipped with kitchen, bath linen, hair dryer, linens, dishes, coffee maker (moka), kettle, wine glasses. Air conditioning and cast iron wood stove. Free Wi-Fi.
