Set on the south facing slopes of Clara Vale (or valley), The Barn is a modern stone house with views of nearby historic Glendalough and situated on our privately owned 50 acres of woodland and pasture. Some of the features include - broadband & wifi, home cinema + TV projector, wood fired hot tub, sauna, outdoor covered cooking & party area, shrubbery and planted gardens set across an acre, vegetable & fruit garden, wood fired stoves, pool table and foosball table. Our home is furnished extensively with textiles, blankets and homeware from our own business STABLE of Ireland (see www.stableofireland.com) where we retail exclusive Irish craft & design accessories to wear, to gift and for the home. Locally, we have some of Wicklow's (and indeed therefore Ireland's) best mountain, forest and river walks, cycling routes and trails just outside the door. We are within 15 minutes drive to some of the most popular and best in Wicklow villages, cafes, pubs and restaurants, and under 1 hours drive from Dublin city. Clara Vale is an extensively wooded valley linking the picturesque village of Laragh and the famous historic Glendalough with the town of Rathdrum through which the Avonmore river runs.
