Located in a building built in 1896, this large apartment features stucco ceilings, parquet floors, 3 large rooms, a bathroom with shower and bathtub plus a guest toilet. Fully furnished with all amenities plus a balcony. Of course a work place plus stable internet. While it is not "modern chic" it is very comfortable, with original art on the walls, a real antique Chinese wedding bed (queen size). It's the location, though, that makes it really special: located on a quiet side street off Kurfuerstendamm (Berlin's equivalent of Fifth Avenue), it is just 150 meters from the local light rail system (S-Bahn) with 4 different lines. Plus 2 bus lines and a taxi stand. A small supermarket is my corner store, pharmacies, and a plethora of restaurants, real bookshops, boutiques, 11 cinemas (many of them showing original language films). It all makes for a very urban, very livable neighborhood in Charlottenburg - the best of old West Berlin. The flat is located one floor up comfortable stairs, no elevator.
