I live in a very bright apartment on the third and top floor, in the Sanità district, one of the most charming in the center of Naples. The bedroom is spacious and has a desk with an ergonomic chair. The room and the rest of the apartment overlook a large covered terrace full of plants and furnished with a sofa and deck chairs, as well as an extendable table for dining. The living room with kitchenette is furnished with a large sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a table, while the bathroom has a bathtub and is also very bright. The house is obviously equipped with Wi-Fi and all amenities, including air conditioning, a fan, and a heat pump. The neighborhood is famous for its market and various museums and historic buildings, but also for a wine bar that is especially busy on Thursdays when it offers live music. The apartment is in the city center and a 5-minute walk from the city's two metro lines and the bus stop for a bus that goes directly to the airport. Although the neighborhood is very lively, the apartment and the immediate surroundings of the building are very quiet and peaceful, so it is advisable not to make too much noise after midnight, especially on the terrace. My roommate lives in a small room overlooking the living room. He is a discreet and almost invisible presence as he works both in the afternoon and in the evening.

We had a wonderful simultaneous exchange with Laura: she stayed in our home in Madrid while we stayed in her apartment in Naples. Communication was fast, clear and friendly from the beginning. We also had a video call before the exchange, and Laura took great care to make sure everything was organised. As she was away when we arrived, she arranged for a friend to welcome us and hand over the keys, which was quick and easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. We especially loved the large terrace and the location in Rione Sanità. It is close enough to walk to the historic centre, while still feeling like a real Neapolitan neighbourhood, with local markets, small shops and everyday life happening around you. Laura also prepared an incredibly detailed personal guide to Naples, full of places she genuinely loves. Her recommendations made a huge difference to our stay and allowed us to experience the city more like locals. We particularly enjoyed the local bakery, the famous Fiocco di Neve at Poppella, and the pizza at La Campagnola. These were some of our favourite experiences of the trip and places we probably would not have discovered in the same way without her advice. Laura was also an excellent guest in our Madrid apartment. She treated our home with care and left everything clean and in perfect order. We highly recommend Laura both as a host and as a guest, and we would be very happy to exchange homes with her again.
