Italian Riviera home at the beach

Our 65 m² apartment is located in Porto Maurizio, Imperia, on the Italian Riviera, just 100 meters from the sea and beach area. Imperia sits between Sanremo and Alassio, close to the French border and the Côte d’Azur, making it an ideal base for exploring the Italian and French Riviera. The apartment is above a family-run pizzeria, in a very quiet area, with no traffic noise at night. The sea can be seen from one of the small balconies, and the beach is only a one-minute walk away. Nearby you’ll find a minimarket with fresh seasonal produce, a bakery, gelato shops, cafés, and excellent restaurants. Just uphill is Parasio, the historic old town with beautiful churches and charming architecture. A 20-minute walk or bike ride brings you to Oneglia, which offers more clothing shops, a cinema, and a weekly outdoor market. The apartment has an open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen with a marble countertop, gas stovetop, and microwave. A dining table can also serve as a workspace. The sofa folds out into a double bed, and upstairs in the loft there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. Renovated in 2018, the apartment features air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and fresh bedding. Evenings are perfect for a passeggiata along the sea, past the pier, lighthouse, and boats, followed by cozy cafés and authentic Ligurian food like pesto, focaccia, and local olive oil. The apartment is easily reachable from Nice Airport (1 hour) or Genoa Airport (1.5 hours), by car rental or train. Nearby destinations include Sanremo, Alassio, Monaco, Nice, and Finale Ligure. Our home is ideal for couples and quiet, non-smoking travelers who enjoy a calm, cozy atmosphere, seaside walks, and authentic Italian Riviera living.
