Room available for exchange in Friedrichshain

About the room 🛏️ Large room in an Altbau (pre-war building) near the East Side Gallery, Warschauer Str., and Boxhagenerplatz 🪟 Faces the street in a lively area 🌙 Weekends can be busy, but the windows block noise well; weekdays are quiet 🪴 Can you take care of my plants? (or I may leave some with a friend) 🛋️ The room functions are my bedroom, living room, and office :) 📽️ Projector available for you to use 🚂 The tram, S-Bahn and U-Bahn are 5-10 minutes away by foot 🍕 There are plenty of restaurants, stores, and supermarkets downstairs as well 👥 About us & the flat 👨‍⚕️ Brian (me): social worker, enjoys cooking, languages, and plants 💪 Markus: often traveling, into fitness, techno, and languages 🎨 Aaron: artsy sweetheart who works nearby 🍕 Both roommates are experts at heating up frozen food 😉 🍳 We mostly do our own thing but enjoy chatting in the kitchen 🗣️ We speak English, German, and some other languages 🤝 Independent but friendly household – getting along is important 🧹 Weekly cleaning schedule (everyone cleans one thing per week) ✨ Cleanliness level: 8–9/10 (things might sit out for a day, but not longer) 🚭 Smoke-free flat & no hard drugs 🏳️‍🌈 Queer- and BIPOC-supportive is a must About you: 💖 Kind, respectful, and tidy 🛡️ Ideally have liability insurance before the swap (usually just a few euros per month) 🤝 I have insurance too, and can arrange one that covers France if needed
