Our 1895 Victorian is located in quaint Lansdowne, a tiny town just outside the Philadelphia city line but only six miles from its city hall. Lansdowne was built as an early inner-ring commuter suburb, so it's an easy 15-minute ride in on the train, and we also have bus, trolley, and metro access. We have our own farmer's market on Saturdays, as well as an Aldi and a Giant within walking distance. It's also a music town, with a folk club, a historic theatre that gets bigger acts, and even its own symphony.
Our house is in the Henry Albertson historic district, and we have done our best to maintain its historical character--though we do have air conditioning! We also have a garden with raspberries, gooseberries, cherries, figs, and persimmons.
