A cozy home 40 min away from central London

Our home is a welcoming 3-bedroom house in Chessington, South West London, with comfortable, lived-in feel. It works well for a couple or small family looking for a quieter base while exploring London and the surrounding area. We are in a friendly residential neighbourhood with local shops and useful amenities nearby, as well as plenty of green space. Transport is very convenient, 6 min walk to the train station with direct connection to London Waterloo Station (London Eye), and with a bus stop right outside the house and direct bus links to Kingston, which is around 20-25 minutes away, and to Epsom in around 20 minutes. There are also bus connections towards Dorking, making it possible to reach the beutifull Surrey Hills for a day out without needing a car. We love that the area gives you a balance of city access and a more local, relaxed neighbourhood feel. It is a great base for visiting London, Kingston, Epsom and parts of Surrey, while still coming back to a calm residential home at the end of the day. House rules are simple: please treat our home with care and respect, no smoking indoors, be mindful of neighbours especially in the evening, and leave the house clean and tidy as you would hope to find your own.
