Our house is nestled in the rolling countryside of North Devon. Swimbridge is a peaceful, picture-postcard village that offers the perfect balance of rural tranquillity and easy access to some of England's most beautiful coastline. It's an ideal base for anyone looking to relax, explore nature, or enjoy outdoor adventures. Within a 10-minute drive you'll find historic market towns, with independent shops, cafés, restaurants, traditional pannier markets and riverside walks. The famous Tarka Trail is nearby, offering miles of traffic-free walking and cycling through stunning countryside. The spectacular North Devon beaches are only 20–30 minutes away. Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands are renowned for their golden sand, excellent surfing, family-friendly beaches and breathtaking coastal scenery. Nature lovers can explore Exmoor National Park with its dramatic moorland, ancient woodlands, wildlife and some of the UK's darkest night skies.
