Cute, funky apartment on a leafy green street

We have a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the most desirable neighborhood of the city, on a beautiful tree-lined street with a median, close to delicious cafes, bakeries, and convenience stores (1-2 blocks away), plus wonderful bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and a lovely armoire. The other bedroom has a full/queen sized bed, along with a desk/chair, clothes rack and cabinet for storage. The bathroom hosts the shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. The kitchen is a bit small (galley-style), but the two common spaces provide lots of extra space. There is a dining room and a salon/living room to relax in. The wifi is robust enough to work from home (hold conference calls) and stream movies on a night in. The building only has 8 units and most of the tenants are locals. Our apartment is on the 1st floor (one set of stairs up from the ground level) and has many windows and lovely natural light in the afternoons. Quiet hours in respect to our neighbors are from 9pm-7am during the week and from 11pm-8am on weekends and we have never had any issues. Occasionally there are vendors announcing their wares from the street (the tamale man, the sweet potato seller, the knife sharpener and others), but most of that is in the late morning to early evening, rarely occuring after 8:30pm. Mexico City has a very temperate climate, so there isn't much need for air conditioning most of the year. Our apartment does keep cool and usually I find myself wearing a sweater if working from home. We do have a small space heater if you do get cold. Overall the space is lovely and central to many fun parts of the city, the neighborhood is very safe and walkable with lots of things to do / explore nearby.
