Welcome to my cozy one-bedroom apartment in Hastings-on-Hudson, a charming village along the Hudson River just 30 minutes outside New York City. Hastings has the best of both worlds: the peace and character of a small Hudson Valley village with easy access to Manhattan. The village is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the Hudson River and Palisades, walking and hiking trails, green spaces, and a historic quarry that speaks to the area’s unique past. My apartment is a peaceful and comfortable place to slow down and feel at home. It’s perfect for mornings spent exploring the trails and riverfront, afternoons wandering through the village, or days in Manhattan before returning somewhere much quieter in the evening. I especially love how connected the area feels to nature while still being so close to New York City. It’s a wonderful home base for anyone wanting to experience both the energy of NYC and the slower, more scenic side of New York.
