With Community Comments, members can now share those kinds of tips directly on Swaphouse destination pages and blog articles, right where that information is most useful.

What is Community Comments?

Community Comments is a new feature on Swaphouse that allows logged-in members to leave comments on destination pages and blog posts.

That means these pages are no longer only something you read. They can also become something the community helps build together through local knowledge, questions, experiences, and recommendations.

Why we built it

We have always believed that the best travel advice comes from real people who have actually been there.

And on Swaphouse, that advice can be even more relevant because it comes from people who understand what makes a place great for a home swap. Not just whether a destination is beautiful, but also things like:

• which neighborhoods feel best to stay in
• where to find good cafes to work from
• what it is actually like to spend a week or a month there
• what other swappers should know before they go
• what questions are worth asking before planning a swap

We wanted to make space for that kind of knowledge on Swaphouse itself, so useful information can live alongside the destinations and articles members are already exploring.

Making Swaphouse more community-driven

We chose that on purpose. We want comments on Swaphouse to come from real members of the community so the discussions stay relevant, helpful, and trustworthy.
