May 2026: Your Latest Swaphouse Update is Here 🎁
Hi there,
We’re still a tiny team building Swaphouse, but with a little help from AI, we’ve been able to ship improvements faster than before.
Here are a few recent updates:
- Neighborhoods: Share your local area
- Dark mode: Browse more at night
- Travel info: Show who you travel with
But before diving into the details, take a look at some of the amazing new home swaps now available on Swaphouse:
Add your neighborhood 📍
If you live in a bigger city, you can now add your neighborhood, district, or local area to your Swaphouse listing. This lets you share a bit more specifically where your home is located, without sharing your full address.
Dark mode is here! 🌙
Swaphouse now has dark mode, making it easier on the eyes when you’re browsing homes, planning swaps, or replying to messages in the evening, while traveling, or from bed.
By default, Swaphouse follows your device setting, but you can switch anytime between Light, Dark, and System in Settings.
Show who you travel with 👥
You can now more easily show whether you usually travel solo, as a couple, with family, friends, or pets.
It helps other members better understand your plans before matching or chatting, making it easier to see if a swap is a good fit. You can add this from your Profile page.
New: Swaphouse Shorts 📹
We’ve launched Swaphouse Shorts: quick videos with tips, tricks, and lessons from the swaps we’ve done ourselves over the past few years. Take a look!
