East Bay Hot Tub House & Cottage

Looking to swap with a home in NYC for the summer. Dates are flexible but preferably June - August. Adorable bohemian, art-and-book-filled home, located in the East Bay. A 2-minute walk from a fully stocked, family owned Italian market; a 10-minute walk from a major chain supermarket and the Del Norte BART station; as well as many bus stops. Walking distance to San Pablo Ave, where you can find multiple bars, restaurants, salons, & gyms. Go up the hill from the house and in 10 minutes find yourself on a hiking trail with magnificent views of the entire Bay, including the Golden Gate and San Francisco. Our home offers you the full California experience of indoor-outdoor living. Private, fenced backyard equipped with a hot tub, fire pit, hammock, plenty of comfy seating, lighting, and outdoor heaters. We also have a small vegetable garden that you are welcome to enjoy! Additionally, our furnished front porch is another option for spending some time in the sun, or watching the sunset. In addition to the 2-bedroom main house, there is also a cottage in the backyard. The cottage features a bathroom, a bedroom, and a living-dining-kitchen area. Laundry is in the garage, which is attached to the cottage. Our home is equipped with a security system, so that you can feel completely safe during your stay. Uncovered driveway space can fit up to two cars. There is also street parking available. El Cerrito is a small town in the East Bay with a great location, equidistant between Berkeley/Oakland, San Francisco, and Napa Valley. Easy access to all via car or public transportation. El Cerrito is also a 15-minute drive from the Richmond Marina, which features oceanside walks, oceanview restaurants, a small beach, and where you can catch the ferry to San Francisco, to enjoy the restaurants and shopping of the famous ferry building, as well as the rest of the city. El Cerrito is also home to the El Cerrito Plaza, for all your shopping needs, and the El Cerrito Rialto Cinema, which features the latest movies, as well as special showings of London theater events, concert movies, and classic movies.
