Our house is a spacious 2BR apartment in the heart of Penha de França, a central neighborhood in Lisbon in walking distance of much of the city center. One of the bedrooms is a working studio space but you'll get to use the other room and large living room. Besides being a 20-minute walk to the city's main squares, the neighborhood is one of the liveliest in town with plenty of cafes, bars, viewpoints, and restaurants. We are at a 6-minute walk to the subway if you want to get farther out into town or try to get to the beach. We are around 30 minutes in public transit to the nearest beaches, but within 1h you get dozens of options.
