Charming home in Croatian most popular destination

Our house is located in a quiet and safe residential area of Poreč, one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations. The town offers well-developed infrastructure and services to accommodate the seasonal influx of visitors, with diverse restaurants, shops, and a wide range of recreational activities. The house is detached and surrounded by a large garden of over 1,000 m², which includes a small pond. We recently divided the house, which is over 200 m², into two apartments. They are separated by a door that remains locked during home exchanges. Our apartment has a net area of about 100 m², not including the spacious terrace, garage, storage area, and private parking. The apartment features a spacious, fully air-conditioned living room connected to a fully equipped kitchen. From the living room, you can step out onto a large, beautiful terrace with a BBQ and natural garden. This serene outdoor space is perfect for enjoying meals, reading a book, or simply relaxing while listening to the birds and admiring the lush greenery. The fully equipped kitchen is connected to the living room and includes a dishwasher, microwave, stove, and bread maker. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed (180x200 cm), and the comfortable corner sofa in the living room can be converted into an additional bed (130x200 cm). The bathroom includes a toilet, shower, washer, and dryer. For those working remotely, the fully air-conditioned home office has an electric standing desk, two monitors, and a reliable 50 Mbps internet connection, ensuring a smooth workflow. I can vouch for this, as I work remotely too! If you’re arriving by car, you can take advantage of our private parking in the courtyard. If you prefer to use your own bikes instead of ours, you can securely store them in the locked garage. Within walking distance (just 400 meters), you’ll find a small grocery store, an excellent local fish restaurant, and a charming family-run hotel, Villa Gloria, featuring a beautiful pool with a bar and several tennis courts. Our guests have free access to the pool, and you can book a tennis court for a fee at your convenience. To visit the city center, you can drive (7 minutes), cycle (15 minutes), or take the electric public bus, which operates several times a day (https://www.myporec.com/en/travel-planning/transport/875). For those who enjoy cycling (we provide bikes for your use), you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes. You’ll also be happy to know that several bike trails pass right by our house, including the famous Parenzana Trail. The Parenzana is a historic 130 km route that connects Poreč with Trieste, offering a unique opportunity for an adventure while exploring the region by bike. The town of Poreč, with its historic center just 5 km away, can accommodate over 50,000 tourists during peak summer season. Throughout the day, additional visitors arrive via day trips, cruises, and excursions from nearby areas, enhancing the lively atmosphere. Poreč is home to numerous restaurants, cozy cafes, and shops, offering everything from local delicacies to souvenirs. Two of Croatia's largest hotel companies are based here, providing a variety of accommodations and amenities. Many hotels and campsites in the area offer extensive water sports facilities, ensuring plenty of options for fun and adventure. There are also numerous boat excursions to nearby islands, or you can even take a ferry to Venice, which takes just over three hours. If you prefer to explore further afield, you can easily rent a car (there are several car rental shops nearby) and visit Rovinj (40 minutes), Pula’s famous Roman Arena and airport (45 minutes), Venice (3 hours), or Zagreb (3 hours). Our guests have access to a Vespa 125cc scooter and two bicycles, perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings at your own pace.
