My cozy little apartment is just the right size for one or two people. It’s on the ground floor of a small building with four apartments. Even though it's a ground-floor flat, it's surprisingly sunny, thanks to the living room opening up to a west-facing garden, letting the light stream in until late afternoon. The kitchen has everything you need—a small bathroom tucked away, a two-burner stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and all the essentials to cook up any meal you like. The bedroom is simple but comfortable, with a double bed and a wardrobe for storage. In the living room, there’s a comfy single-seater sofa and a two-seater sofa, perfect for relaxing, plus a little table for meals. The garden is shared with the neighbors, but everyone has their own space, so it feels private and peaceful. The apartment is in Nansouty, a lively part of southern Bordeaux, surrounded by local bars, shops, and just a stone’s throw from a covered market and the St. Michel flea market, which brings the area to life every Sunday. It’s a charming spot that feels like home. Bordeaux is a lovely city — not too big, close to the ocean, and near other beautiful areas like Toulouse and the Landes region.
