This is a modern, cosy apartment on the 7th floor (with elevators) that has the best of city living and access to green spaces. There is a well lit open plan living area, kitchen / dining / lounge, with an alcove by the window with a desk for working. The master bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobe, with an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower. The second bedroom has a small 'tallboy' storage unit containing some hanging space and some shelves and drawers. There's also a desk. Both bedrooms have doors that open onto a balcony, where there's a table and chairs. You can eat outside, or have a morning coffee / evening drink. From the balcony you can see water, the River Lea which runs by the apartment, and glimpses of Walthamstow Wetlands, Europe's largest wetlands which is barely a 5 minute walk away. The main bathroom has a bathtub (quite a shallow bath, I must say, so not really designed for long relaxing baths), with a shower over it. I've lived in the neighbourhood for over 12 years now. I love the convenience of being 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube and train station. I can be in central London in barely 20 minutes. And, I have lots of parks, marshes, water nearby, so I get the benefit of green space for walking and running. Tottenham Hale is a major area of regeneration in London. It's still changing rapidly around me, with lots of new buildings being built around the train station. There's a growing number of great local cafes and pubs within a 10-15 minute walk. Within a short bus/tube journey you also access local spots such as Walthamstow Village and Stoke Newington, which both have lovely cafes/restaurants/bars. From Tottenham Hale station, there are also direct train services to Stansted airport, London Liverpool Street and Stratford stations. There’s no dedicated or free parking, but there's a pay and display car park at the end of the road. No smoking in the apartment, or on the balcony, as the smell still ends up getting into the apartment.
