Bright flat located in a historic building in a cosy area within Barcelona's Poble Sec neighborhood. Located right at the start of Montjuic, the small mountain and nature park at the heart of the city that hosts dozens of gardens, museums, the Olympic stadiums and Barca's current stadium. Poble Sec is still incredibly local with an international flare. A 2 minute walk from the house and you're in Plaza Sortidor a tree-filled plaza with bars and restaurants, and just a few minutes more to Carrer de Blai for tapas and pinchos, or to Sant Antoni. Nearly everything is walkable in Barcelona-- you're at the city beaches in 30 minutes, the historic El Gótico or El Born neighborhoods in 15 minutes... The apartment is bright with direct sunlight all afternoon and huge windows. Note that I share the apartment with a friend but you will have plenty of space to yourself: two private rooms, the bedroom with large windows and a double bed, and a livingroom/office. The livingroom/office has a direct cable for internet or you can use our wifi. There's also a monitor and hdmi cable for use. The kitchen is huge and bright, almost entirely private use, while the bathroom is shared. There's a garden in the apartment below offering super nice green views from the living room and kitchen. While a historic building, the flat has been recently renovated with heat and all the best kitchen amenities :) We are only a few neighbors in our building and street and take care of our little community. The street itself is located on the hillside and doesn't allow thru traffic so it's quite quiet with historic houses that you don't see much in Barcelona anymore. Please keep in mind you'll be sharing the apartment with my flatmate-- while we only share the bathroom and he has a soundproof door, we keep the space neat for each other :) We also have 2 cats-- they're curious about visitors, love snuggles and play depending on the moment. While you can keep the door to your room closed, they have free range of the house, so it's important that you're comfortable with them.
