Welcome to our home ! We are eager discoverers and looking forward to the new experiences this site may bring us Our home is a spacious, independent Duplex house build in 1960 and completely renovated in 2020 with a big (700sqm) private garden, located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Augsburg, just steps from the golf course and nestled close to the Wertach and Singold rivers. It’s the perfect retreat for families with children looking for a safe, fun, and active escape in an idyllic setting. Whether you’re after adventure at nearby Legoland or exploring nature through direct access to forests, fruit fields, and thermal baths like Erdinger Therme (priding to be the biggest therm worldwide) or Bad Wörishofen, our location has it. Plus, cultural treasures like Schloss Neuschwanstein and the vibrant city of Munich are just under 100km away. Our ground floor offers an inviting, open-plan space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room blend seamlessly. The living space opens to a veranda with a BBQ and leads into a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, flowers, a pond, and raised vegetable beds ( which to be fair we are still working out our capabilities to raise them) —ideal for outdoor relaxation and family activities. Upstairs, you’ll find a large master bedroom with a spacious 6sqm ( 3x2 m) king-size family bed (plus a baby crib and co-sleeping com if needed), a charming children’s room featuring a lofted single bed in a fun, play-friendly structure, and a bathroom with a tub and rainshower. A small balcony overlooks our garden, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the view. The top floor attic provides two additional rooms, each currently set up as home offices—one with a queen-size bed and the other with a double sofa bed. ( depending on your accommodation needs we might close the Double sofa bed Room for privacy). Our home is fully equipped for families with babies and toddlers, offering plenty of toys and activities to keep little ones entertained. For remote workers, the house is equally convenient with two desks and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. Additional notes We require guests to reserve our home for a 7-day minimum giving priority to longer stays. (A few days will not be accepted). Thank you for understanding. This is our permanent home so please expect it to be well lived in! We do not "move out" when guests come (it doesn't look like an Airbnb but instead like a home), we clean up and are happy to have you use anything in our home you might need (food ingredients , bicycles, etc). We’d be more than happy to share plenty of great recommendations and are always available if you need anything!
