My home is a bright open studio in Amsterdam-Noord, located in the Vogelbuurt, a down-to-earth, local neighbourhood away from the tourist rush. Within a 10-minute walk you’ll reach the IJ waterfront, where you can have a drink or dinner by the water (HMU for my favourite spots!). From there, the free ferry takes you straight to Central Station in just 3 minutes — you’ll be in the heart of Amsterdam within 15 minutes.
The studio sits in a historic Amsterdam School building with 4.5-meter-high ceilings and three French doors that open directly to a shared garden courtyard. The layout is open: the kitchen and living area flow together, and the bed sits on a floating mezzanine above.
It’s perfect for one person or a couple who enjoys light, space and a quiet creative atmosphere, while still being connected to the city and the local community.
