June 2026: 3500+ homes, more swaps, new features 🥳
Hi there,
Swaphouse keeps growing: last week we reached 3500 homes, and members have already confirmed more swaps in 2026 than in all of 2025! 🥳
To help even more swaps come together, we’ve been improving the platform based on your feedback. Here are some of the latest updates:

Before diving in, let’s take a look at some of the amazing new homes now available on Swaphouse:
Find available matches 🗓️
Not every match is ready to become a swap right away. That’s why we made it easier to filter your matches based on your own availability.
On the Matches page, select one of your availability periods and filter matches by overlapping dates, preferred swap length, destinations, and people who are looking for your area.
New remote work filters 🧑💻
Planning to work remotely during your swap? We’ve made it easier to find homes that fit your work setup.
You can now filter homes by desk type, verified Wi-Fi speed, and whether external monitors are available.
Private vs shared amenities 🏡
A private garden is not the same as a shared courtyard, and an in-home washer is different from one shared with the building.
That’s why you can now label selected amenities as private or shared, so potential swappers know exactly what to expect.
Improved Matches map 🗺️
Matches are now easier to explore on the map. We’ve improved how pins are grouped, including by continent, so you can quickly zoom in on the areas you’re most interested in.
You can also use filters directly on the map to narrow matches down by country, home setup, remote-work essentials, and more.
A clearer swap commitment 🤝
Home swaps often involve flights, time off work, and careful planning, so a late cancellation can have a big impact on the other swapper.
That’s why we’ve added a new Commitment section to the swap request flow, reminding members to treat confirmed swaps seriously, communicate early if plans change, and discuss cancellation expectations before booking non-refundable travel.
