Our home is a bright and cozy split-level apartment in Clapton, Hackney, set over two levels connected by a few steps. The living area has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. There’s a comfortable living room with a brick fireplace, an open kitchen, and a dining space that looks out onto a quiet, tree-lined street. There’s a spacious bedroom with another fireplace and a calm office or TV room overlooking gardens. The apartment is filled with light throughout the day and surrounded by trees, which makes it feel peaceful and private. We’re a short walk from the Overground station and only a few stops from central London. The neighborhood is lively and creative, full of small cafés, independent shops, and some of the coziest pubs in East London, yet our street itself is very quiet. No smoking inside and please be mindful of noise in the evenings.
