Welcome to our cozy Scandinavian home! 🌿 Our apartment is located in a peaceful, well-connected area of Stockholm - the perfect balance between city life and calm surroundings. Whether you’re visiting for work, a family holiday, or a Scandinavian adventure, this apartment offers a comfortable, practical, and inviting base to explore Stockholm and beyond. ✨ The Space Our home is 74 square meters (about 800 sq ft) -spacious by Stockholm standards and thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality. It has large windows that bring in plenty of natural light throughout the day, making it a bright and uplifting space even in the winter months. • Bedroom: Cozy and quiet, with a comfortable king-size bed and blackout curtains for restful sleep. • Living Room: Over 20 sqm, with a comfortable sofa, smart TV, dining area, and space for an extra king-size mattress if needed. This setup works perfectly for a family of four or two couples. • Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy meals at home - Nespresso machine, oven, cooktop, microwave, fridge, freezer, juicer, and basic pantry essentials. We don’t have a dishwasher, but we find the kitchen easy to use and maintain. • Bathroom: Recently renovated with modern fittings, and a shower - clean, bright, and fresh. • Laundry: Washer and drying rack available in the apartment. • Workspace: A small, quiet corner with good Wi-Fi - perfect for remote work or catching up on travel plans. • Heating & Comfort: Central heating keeps the apartment warm and cozy in winter. We have clean linens, towels, and extra blankets for your stay. We take great care of our home and hope guests will treat it with the same respect and warmth. It’s tidy, calm, and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. 🚆 Location & Getting Around We live in a friendly residential neighborhood about 17 minutes by Pendeltåg (commuter train) from Stockholm Central Station. The train station is just 600 meters (7-8 minutes walk) from the apartment, making it super easy to get in and out of the city. • To Stockholm Central: ~17 mins • To Arlanda Airport: ~30 mins by car • To Södermalm / Gamla Stan (Old Town): 20–25 mins • To nearby nature reserve: 10 mins It’s the ideal setup - close enough for daily trips into central Stockholm, but far enough to enjoy quiet evenings and greenery after a busy day exploring. There are grocery stores, cafés, bakeries, and small restaurants all within walking distance. A larger shopping area with supermarkets and gyms is just a short bus ride away, 15-20 minutes by walk. 🧭 Neighborhood Highlights Our neighborhood is calm, green, and family-friendly - a typical Stockholm suburb where locals walk, bike, and enjoy outdoor life. You’ll find forest trails and lakes nearby for morning walks, runs, or even a refreshing swim in summer. In winter, it’s peaceful and cozy, often blanketed in snow, making it feel like a Scandinavian postcard. Public transport is safe, efficient, and very easy to use. You can reach all major attractions - Gamla Stan (Old Town), the Royal Palace, museums, Djurgården, and Södermalm’s cafes and shops in 30 minutes.
