Cosy duplex with private patio in Sant Andreu

Our home is a ground floor duplex with an indoor and outdoor patio, a rare and peaceful setup in the city. Enjoy working from the patio with natural light ☀️ or stay cool inside with the air conditioning. After work, you can relax at home or head out to explore the neighbourhood and everything Barcelona and the surrounding area have to offer. ⬇️⬇️More info about our home and its amenities ⬇️⬇️ ~ The apartment ~ 🏠 Downstairs you’ll find the living area with an open kitchen and bar, the indoor and outdoor patios, and a toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the bathroom with another toilet, a shower/bathtub, and a tiny patio where the washing machine is located. We have two bedrooms but only one will be available. We prefer to host up to 2 guests at a time. The kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven, stove, microwave, slow cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and most importantly, a coffee pot. ☕️ Our outdoor patio has a cozy setup with a small lounge area, plants, a table, chairs, a sofa and a pergola for shade. There is also a barbecue that you can use. Please be mindful of the neighbours with noise or if they have theirs clothes out to dry. After all, we’re sharing our home with you, and they’re our neighbours all year long. ~ Working from home ~ 👩‍💻 We both work from home and enjoy changing our work station. Whether you prefer to stand up or sit on a stool at the bar, use the foldable desk that can easily be moved around the house, or enjoy the natural light in the indoor or outdoor patio, you will find a setup that suits you. You can enjoy the air conditioning in the summer in the living area and the bedroom. There are also several coworking spaces and laptop-friendly cafés nearby. We're happy to share recommendations! 😉 Something to consider, mobile phone signal does not reach inside the apartment. There is a weak signal in the outdoor patio for personal calls. WiFi works throughout the flat and is what we use daily for remote work and video calls. ~ Life after work ~ 🤸‍♀️ After work, feel free to enjoy our many boardgames in our patio or living area, or discover the neighbourhood and the city. The apartment is located in a quiet street but surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars and parks. Sant Andreu is a genuine Catalan and lively neighbourhood. The metro is a 10-minute walk away and takes you downtown in 20 minutes. The beach is 30 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes by bike. Barcelona has beaches in the city and many well-known attractions, but in just 30 minutes by car you can escape to the mountains or the coast and enjoy nature in nearby towns. ~ Swap Details ~ ✨ We are flexible with dates and length of stay. Typically we are looking for short getaways, a long weekend or a week. And in the summer we look for longer stays. Open to swaps across Europe for short stays, and beyond for longer ones ☺️
