If you want to experience Bucharest city life, this a great place to do so. We've spent the past 7 years here, and every day feels like we're on a city break - we love it. Apologies for the dark & messy photos, will take new ones during daytime - we just got excited and wanted to list it asap. The apartment is smack-down in the middle of Bucharest, on Calea Victoriei - 3min walk to Romana Metro Station and plenty buses. The building is a bit recessed from the street so there's not a ton of noise (though it isn't a quiet apartment, by any means). Within 5-10min walk you'll find great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, museums, concert halls. We've particularly bought this apartment because we prefer to walk rather than drive - and most of the things you'll want to do in Bucharest (whether you visit or live here) will probably be within 15-20min walk max. To see everything else, you can use our electric scooter, if you have a motorcycle license (medium-sized but seats 2 normal adults, 100km range, charge at home). The neighbourhood is a great one - you have all the benefits of living in the city center, where Bucharest actually looks nice, without being in ground-zero for tourists (Unirii and Universitate). Even the coffee shops and restaurants are a bit more local, with a mix of locals and expats. The apartment features: - one master bedroom; - one office room with a sofa, electric desk, office chair; - one living room + dining + kitchen (small but fully equipped); - one bathroom (shower); The flat is at the 3rd floor and there's an elevator. The area and building itself are very safe - you can walk at nighttime without a worry. Bucharest can be a great place to live, if you know where to go, what to see and where to eat - we'll happily share our favorite spots.
