Grandma's house in Peristeri

After finishing university, I moved into my grandmother's apartment and gradually transformed it into a cozy, welcoming home while preserving its warm family atmosphere. Every room has been thoughtfully updated over time, and I'm happy to share it with fellow travelers who appreciate staying in a real home rather than a standard rental. The apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it ideal for couples, families or remote workers. The main bedroom features a comfortable double bed, while the living room includes a sofa that easily converts into a second double bed. There is also a separate room with a dedicated workspace, perfect for working remotely, studying or simply enjoying some quiet time. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, stovetop, air fryer, refrigerator and everything you need to prepare meals at home. The bathroom features a bathtub, washing machine, hair dryer and iron, making longer stays just as comfortable as short visits. To help guests feel at home, the apartment offers fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a selection of books and board games for relaxing evenings, as well as Netflix and HBO for cozy movie nights. I'm also in the process of adding a Nespresso coffee machine, so guests can start their mornings with a great cup of coffee. Located in the lively neighborhood of Bournazi, in Peristeri (Athens, Greece), you'll find cafés, restaurants, bars, bakeries, supermarkets and local shops all within walking distance. While the area offers plenty of places to eat, drink and explore, the apartment itself is in a quiet residential setting, providing the perfect balance between city life and relaxation. Agios Antonios Metro Station is approximately 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes by bus or a 20-minute walk from the apartment, and Syntagma Square can be reached in around 35 minutes by public transport, making it easy to discover Athens' historic center and main attractions while enjoying life like a local.
