Eden - Bright, Spacious Altbau Room

🌿 Welcome to Eden Welcome to Eden —my little sanctuary in the heart of Berlin. This apartment is shared with two lovely flatmates (we're all under 30), but don't let that fool you, we're definitely not a party flat. One of us is a student, the other two work full-time, so everyone has their own routine and respects each other's space and quiet time. The apartment is incredibly peaceful and friendly, making it the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring Berlin. 🛏️ Your Room I lovingly call my room Eden because that's exactly how it feels to me: bright, green, calm and cozy. The room is spacious with beautiful high ceilings and lots of natural daylight throughout the day. Thanks to its smart layout, it feels even larger and offers separate areas for relaxing, working and sleeping. One of my favorite spots is the cozy sofa corner right by the window. Whether you want to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or simply relax after sightseeing, it's the perfect little retreat. If you're working remotely, you'll have a desk with enough of space to comfortably work from home. Sometimes I work on my Sofa too ;) For cozy evenings, there's a Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps, as well as a great sound system if you'd like to listen to music. An air purifier with fan function keeps the room fresh and pleasantly cool, especially during the summer months. The room is also spacious enough to fit an additional air mattress if needed. You'll notice there are lots of plants throughout the room. 🌱 They mean a lot to me, so I'd really appreciate it if you could simply water them about once a week during your stay. If you have curly hair, you're in luck! As I work in the curly hair industry, you're welcome to try some of my favorite curly hair products during your stay. Most importantly, I hope you'll simply feel at home here. 📍 The Neighborhood One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the location. Although the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet, everything you need is just a short walk away. The tram stop is only 5 minutes away, while U8 Gesundbrunnen Station can be reached in about 7 minutes on foot. From there you'll have access to the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, regional trains and even direct connections to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), making it incredibly easy to explore the city—or travel beyond. You'll also find plenty of supermarkets within walking distance, including Lidl, Turkish grocery stores, DM, bakeries and a shopping mall with everything from groceries to fashion. If you enjoy being outdoors, you'll love Humboldthain Park, one of my favorite places in Berlin. Climb to the top for one of the city's most beautiful sunset views, stroll through the rose garden or work out at another nearby calisthenics park. Food lovers will also feel at home here. The neighborhood offers an amazing variety of restaurants—from Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine to Senegalese food, cozy cafés and hidden local gems.
