Traditional Indonesian Wooden House + Pool in Bali

Our home is a beautiful traditional Indonesian wooden house (called a joglo) in Seseh, a peaceful village on Bali’s west coast, surrounded by tropical greenery and away from the busier parts of Canggu. The house has a private garden and swimming pool, plenty of indoor-outdoor living space, and everything you need for a slow Bali stay, including space and equipment for yoga & home workouts. We’re around a 5-minute scooter ride from Seseh Beach, a quiet black-sand beach that’s lovely for sunset walks. Seseh itself has an increasingly good selection of cafés, restaurants, coffee shops and wellness spots, while the much larger food scene in Pererenan is around 10–15 minutes away and Canggu is roughly 15–20 minutes away. This is more of the quiet, expat area rather than the busy touristy side, but still filled with amazing cafés and restaurants. The area is ideal if you want to experience a calmer, more local side of Bali while still being close to excellent restaurants, cafés, yoga, Pilates, surf and everything around Canggu and Pererenan. There are also yoga and wellness options right around Seseh Beach. We live here full-time, so this is a real, loved home rather than a holiday rental.
