My flat is a recently decorated Victorian tenement in the wonderful hub of Leith in Edinburgh. There are two very large double bedrooms, small office, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with electric shower and a large living room with decorative fire place. The flat is modern meets traditional in a leafy part of the city. It is right next to a large park with access to the many cycle lanes which connect Edinburgh. It is a ten minute walk to the Shore, a vibrant hub of bars and restaurants, a 20 min walk to the nearest beach and 10 min walk to the nearest large supermarket (there is a Sainsbury’s local 5 mins away also) and a co-op across the road. It takes around 40mins to walk to the centre of town, however there are many buses you can take from directly outside the flat also. It is also now on the tram route from the airport! Leith is (imo) the absolute best part of the city, with its own distinct atmosphere and personality. My flat is in a quiet part of Leith yet very easily connected to the perks of the city. There is a separate office room with view to Arthur’s Seat, Wi-Fi connection is strong and will enable remote work. The flat has central heating, hot water, electric shower and cooker. It has everything you need to feel at home straight away :)
