My house has the benefit of being in the backyard of an intentional community so you can access people and resources to learn more about Los Angeles. But the room itself is private and cozy. It feels like a cabin and you will sleep soundly with the smell of wood PLUS air conditioning. There is a sunny porch right outside the room for enjoying the backyard :)
