This is a 2 bedroom apartment situated very close to Milan's Historic Navigli (canals designed by Leonardo Da Vinci). Unlike most Milanese buildings, ours is set on a tree lined street in front with a rare bamboo forest and a full park in the back. The building was built in 2010 and has all modern amenities. Each bedroom has full floor to ceiling window/doors that open onto balconies. The living room has southern exposure so it is very bright. The kitchen is open plan and as a passionate cook, you will find every possible cooking tool you need. The big asterisk is that as my cat, Zoe, is older, she is not chipped, and therefore cannot travel, so she comes along with the house. She is very low maintenance and basically just sleeps all day, but caring for her is part of this houseswap. I will arrange to have a housekeeper come during the stay to take care of her litter. She can be left alone overnight for one night with an automated feeder if you're looking to do day trips in the area. You are welcome to bring your children but the house is not at all babyproofed and there is a balcony.
