Welcome to my cozy apartment in the heart of Reykjavik’s old Vesturbær neighborhood—arguably the best part of town! It’s a 10-minute walk to downtown, so everything is close by, but the area itself stays nice and peaceful. From the bedroom, you’ll wake up to a view of charming, colorful houses, while the kitchen and living room look out over a garden with lovely trees. The ocean is just a short walk away—not exactly for swimming (it’s Reykjavik, after all), but perfect for a scenic stroll along the shore, with mountains in the distance. And if you’re here in winter, you might even catch the northern lights right from the neighborhood. One of my favorite things? There’s an incredibly cozy café just three minutes down the road. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee or heading downtown, it’s all super convenient and walkable. My apartment is the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and location—I think you’ll love it here! As for me, I have a background in sustainability and am looking to spend one to two months in mainland Europe for work purposes. Timing is flexible but spring or summer would be ideal.
