In Copenhagen, we are a seven-minute walk from the metro stop "DR Byen". There is a nice supermarket at the same spot, also 7 minutes walk away. On your way, you'll pass what is called "DR Concert Hall", which is beautifully illuminated at night. If you go from metro stop "DR Byen" to the city centre, there are only three metro stops to "Kgs. Nytorv", which is a centre in the historical old town. If you are up for walking, you can just walk there, and the same goes for biking (commercial shared bikes called "Donkey Republic" can be found all over Copenhagen). We have a view of an architecturally interesting building called Tietgenkollegiet. We also have a view to the University of Copenhagen South Campus and the IT University of Denmark. We look out at a park, where there are several places to go and relax or do outdoor exercise (Search for "Grønningen Ørestad"). This park is just next to a large wilderness area called Amager Fælled, where you can see both wild horses and cattle all year round. If you can spot them, sometimes it is very easy, and sometimes we don't find them. Finally, we live just next to probably one of the best ice cream shops in Copenhagen called "Ismageriet Amager". If you come via the airport, you just take the metro M2 to "Christianshavn" and then get off, and go to the other side of the platform, and take the next M1 train to "Vestamager" for two stops, and then arrive at metro stop "DR Byen". If you arrive by train at Copenhagen Central Station and your train continues to "Norreport," then just stay on the train. If not, get on an "S-train", two stops to "Norreport", where you change to the M1 metro, towards "Vestamager". We are new to Swap House.
