Herriman mountain hideaway

Tucked into the Southwest mountains of the Salt Lake County Valley, near yellow fork canyon trailheads for hiking and cove pond for fishing is our cozy family home. We like to think of our home as being in a hidden gem of the salt lake valley. We have views of the valley looking east. We have master bedroom with an office space that features a desk and couch. An en suite bathroom goes into a shower, tub, and walk in closet. Second bed room is a simple queen bed and rocking chair. The third bedroom is our kid’s bedroom with a bunk bed and kids toys. Between them is another bathroom with a shower/tub. This home is family friendly. We have a large garage, a yard, and a beautiful area for daily walks. In my opinion the hiking up yellow fork is some of the best in the area. Here are the drivable national parks: Distance to Moab (Arches and Canyon land national park) about 3 hours south east Distance to Zion national park and Bryce National Park about 4 hours south west Distance to Great Basin National Park 3.5 hours west. Distance to Bear Lake 2.5 hours north. Distance to Teton NP and Yellowstone NP 3.5-4 hours north. Downstairs is our main living area with our music space, living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and mud room. We have renters in the basement and share the backyard. Yard is fenced but jumping dogs might get out one side of the yard. Ours doesn’t. Our favorite things to do in the area: * Blackridge reservoir is 10 min away. We love a beach moment, with a kid park and Mountain Views. *We love Wardle Fields Splash pads. We live near ALOT of splash pads but this one is huge. *Lynn Crane Park with amphitheater, splash pads, near library, city hall, rec center. *Crystal Hot Springs is a little over an hour north and has some of the highest concentrations of minerals anywhere. *most ski hills are 1.25 hours from door to parking lot. We like resorts up Big and Little cottonwood canyons. Alta, snowbird, solitude, Brighton. *Rock Climbing is all over on the wasatch front. *Butterfield canyon for hiking and new mountain bike trails.
