Beautiful and quiet tree lined street in the heart of Carthage. There’s a Catholic Vietnamese college campus just a block away that’s filled with trees and paths and rock structures that is open to the public. They have an annual Marian Days celebration where over 100,000 Vietnamese Catholics come and camp out on the college campus. They do mass every evening and concerts. We have very friendly neighbors. The town is beautiful and quiet and features a Malle Leaf festival every October when the trees have changed color. The main event is a parade that goes through the whole town. People from around the US come back home for this festival. Lots of Victorian houses around town and the most beautiful courthouse in the state, maybe even the country!
