A quiet oasis in Nea Smyrni I’m sharing my 38 sqm home in Nea Smyrni. I’m an actor and a bit of a "nature dude," so the space is a mix of my artistic life and my love for the outdoors. It’s a quiet, creative pocket in a very safe, family-oriented neighborhood. I’ve spent years hosting and traveling via Couchsurfing and have a lot of reviews there. I’m happy to share my profile link so you can see I’m respectful and reliable. In short I know what it means to host and be hosted! The apartment is on a "heightened" ground floor, sitting above street level. It faces the side of the building directly toward the trees, which makes it feel very calm. I’ve filled the place with plants and warm ambient lighting to keep it cozy in the evenings. The Space The "Nature Nest": I bring the outdoors in—expect to find branches, barks, and rocks used as decor. (If you’re looking for a sterile hotel, this isn't it; but if you like a home with a bit of "forest" soul, you’ll like it here.) The Beds: There is one double bed in the bedroom. In the living area, there is a couch that easily sleeps one person, plus a sofa bed that opens up for a 4th guest. Art & Life: Personal paintings, books, and a small but fully equipped kitchen for real cooking. Fitness & Wellness: I can leave my TRX handles, resistance bands, and boxing gloves for you. My Muay Thai gym is close by, and there are dance and yoga studios just a short walk away. Basics: Fast internet and plenty of hot water. The Neighborhood & Community The Best Neighbor: You’ll likely meet the lovely lady who lives next door. She’s wonderful—she helps me water the plants and occasionally drops off food. It’s that kind of building. Local Life: Nea Smyrni Square is 2 minutes away with its fountains and cafes. The supermarket is 1 minute away. Culture: You’re very close to the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center (SNFCC) and the Onassis Stegi. The Sea: The tram takes you to the beach in about 15 minutes. Food: I’ll leave a list of my favorite local spots for you. Transport The bus and tram are just around the corner, and the metro is a 15-minute walk through the neighborhood. It’s an honest, lived-in, and healthy home. If you want a peaceful stay in a local Athens "oasis," you're very welcome here.
