Cozy Berlin home near Neukölln & Treptower Park

Our home is a cozy and light-filled 65 sqm, two-room Altbau apartment in Alt-Treptow, Berlin. The neighborhood is calm, family-orientated and perfectly located to quickly reach some of Berlin’s most vibrant areas like Neukölln, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. You can stroll around Maybachufer and hang out in Treptower Park anytime! At the same time you don't need to leave our Kiez, since everything you need is right around the corner: two supermarkets (Edeka and Netto) directly behind the building, a specialty coffee shop, a great bagel place, two Spätis, a flower shop, a bar and two vietnamese restaurants. Right across the street you’ll find what we genuinely believe are the best vegan burgers in Berlin. Several bus lines stop nearby and take you directly to Mitte, Neukölln or Friedrichshain. The S-Bahn station Treptower Park (Ringbahn and direct lines to the airport) is about a 15-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The apartment itself is a classic Berlin Altbau with very high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. It has a bedroom, a living room, an Altbau-typical narrow bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen where you can comfortably cook and eat together. Our apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The bedroom includes a proper workspace, with a small desk, monitor and comfortable Vitra chair. And there’s a small balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or watch the trees outside from bed. The living room has a dedicated reading and chill corner, a record player with vinyl to enjoy, lots of books you’re welcome to read, a smart TV and a very comfortable sofa that can also be pulled out to sleep two additional people. Over the past four years we’ve slowly and lovingly furnished the place with a lot of care and attention to detail: it’s very much a lived-in, well-loved home and we think it’s a peaceful, warm and welcoming place. For us it's perfect for enjoying both quiet moments at home and everything Berlin has to offer. The house contains of 13 apartments and a lovely sense of community: neighbors are friendly, relaxed and supportive.
