We've rolled out several updates to improve swapping, messaging, and the overall experience on Swaphouse.
Here's what we've recently launched:
- Address Verification to help build trust between swappers
- Review Badges showing your average star rating on your profile
- Emoji Reactions & Quick Replies for a smoother messaging experience

📍 Address Verification (Beta)
We've introduced Address Verification, an optional beta feature to help increase trust between swappers.
Members can verify their address by receiving a physical letter with a unique code. Once entered, an Address Verified badge appears on their listing.
Want to be one of the early users? Reach out to us and we'll unlock it for you. We'll cover the printing and shipping costs during the beta.
⭐ Review Badges
Completed a swap and received a review?
Your average star rating now appears directly on your profile and home listing once you've received one or more reviews.
It's a simple way to highlight swap experiences and help trusted members stand out. After your next completed swap, just make sure to leave and receive a review.
💬 Emoji Reactions & Quick Replies
Messaging is one of the most important parts of getting to know each other before a swap, so we're continuously improving the experience.
Emoji Reactions
You can now react to messages with emojis; a quick and easy way to keep the conversation flowing without sending a full reply.
On desktop, simply hover over a message to react. On mobile, double tap a message.
Quick Replies
You can now respond to a specific message in the chat, making it clear exactly what you're replying to. Helpful when coordinating details, answering questions, or confirming plans.
