Walk to Palm Beach on magical Waiheke Island

Situated on the world famous Waiheke Island, surrounded by white sand beaches, vineyards, and an amazing community. Our property is a 15 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (palm beach). Set in a peaceful private garden, the main house (70 sqm) has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, with a new kitchen and open plan dining and living room. There is a “gin deck” at the back of the main house along with a covered outdoor entertaining area at the front of the house. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a set of built in bunks in the second bedroom- a single over a double. There is no noise or disturbance in the bunks as they are built into the wall. Please note - the bunk bedroom is usually not available unless discussed in advance. There is also a new (2026) Ecosa sofa bed in the living room with a Super King bed (the blue couch in the photos - the yellow couch is no longer there). There is a heat pump/AC in the living room, ceiling fans in the dining and living areas and tower fans in each bedroom. Washing machine and dryer available. Mains pressure shower (not that common on Waiheke!) Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and many condiments and basic cooking supplies are available. Lovely rural view, with a peek of the sea from the dining room. We have a separate self contained garden studio cottage (30 sqm) that is sometimes rented through airbnb, however the front house is reserved exclusively for our family and exchange guests. There is good separation between the house and cottage. If you wish to use the house and the garden cottage, this may be possible with an higher GP exchange 'rate'. A cleaning/linens fee of $120-$140 (depending on number of guests) is required for each stay (may be mutually waived for reciprocal stays).
