Cosy apartment in trendy Sundbyberg, 10 min from central Stockholm.
The apartment has excellent public transport, with metro, commuter trains and buses nearby. Stockholm city centre is only about 10 minutes away, and it is easy to reach Strawberry Arena, concert venues, shopping areas, beaches and other parts of the city.
The neighbourhood has everything you need within walking distance: parks, cafés, affordable bars, restaurants, shopping centres and supermarkets. Pizza, kebab, Thai food, sushi and plenty of other options are just around the corner.
During your stay, you will have the apartment as your home. I keep one private room for myself, mainly to make travel dates and flights easier to coordinate. This means I may occasionally stay in the apartment for one or two nights during your stay, but most of the time you will have the place to yourself.
If our dates overlap for a night or two, it also gives us the opportunity to meet. I will be happy to tell you all about Stockholm, Sweden and places worth visiting, and give you practical tips based on what you are interested in.
Your room is large, around 22 m², with a lockable door, comfortable 140 cm bed, Chromecast TV, desk/workspace and fast Wi-Fi at around 250 Mbit/s. It is also a very good setup if you need to work remotely.
You have full access to the kitchen, bathroom and common areas. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it is easy to cook your own meals, and there are several inexpensive supermarkets nearby.
The area is safe and the street is quiet, making it a good place to relax and sleep well while still being close to everything Stockholm has to offer. There are also parks, an outdoor gym and a nice beach nearby.
Strawberry Arena is within walking distance, with a pleasant route through green park areas and past lakes.
If you come by car, I can also show you where free parking is available nearby.
I am a friendly and social host and happy to share tips about Stockholm, Sweden and travelling in general. I have travelled to around 40 countries and lived in several of them, so I am always happy to exchange ideas about travel, history, culture and everyday life.
This swap can also be combined with a stay at our home in Jokkmokk, in Swedish Lapland. So if you would like to experience both Stockholm and northern Sweden during the same trip, have a look at my other listing.
Longer stays may also be possible. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested.
