The apartment has a distinctly 1970s Laurel Canyon bungalow feel, with tons of character and personality. It’s situated at the back of a small property, making it exceptionally private. Nobody can see into any of the windows, and it’s remarkably quiet aside from the occasional helicopter. There are front and back doors that create a fantastic cross breeze, an AC unit in the living room, a cute tiled bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen with appliances, including an ice cream maker. There’s also access to a shared pool at the front of the property, with only a handful of other tenants, all of whom are lovely. One of the best things about the place is that you get the seclusion of the Hollywood Hills without sacrificing walkability. There’s a market less than five minutes away, Trader Joe’s and the Metro are both about a 15-minute walk, and the Hollywood Bowl is practically around the corner. It’s a wonderful little hideaway in the middle of Los Angeles, especially for someone who appreciates an apartment with a little soul.
